Why I Chose Peace Over Happiness
Most people are chasing happiness. I used to do the same. It took years to realize how unstable that mindset really is.
Happiness depends on mood, circumstances, or someone else doing what you want. It’s emotional. It doesn’t last. The moment life gets difficult, happiness is the first thing to vanish. I needed something stronger.
That’s why I started Called to Be Still.
Peace doesn’t depend on how you feel. It comes from presence, discipline, and being clear about what matters. It holds steady even when everything else falls apart.
This blog isn’t about hype or positivity. It’s for people who want something real. People who are done with emotional noise and surface-level advice. People who want to think clearly and live with intention.
I’ll be writing about stillness, faith, personal clarity, and the value of slowing down. Not from theory, but from experience. I’ve lived through chaos. I’ve had to rebuild. I’ve had to let go of the pressure to perform and learn how to be present in the middle of it all.
If that speaks to you, you’re in the right place.
